God wants nothing from us. It is us that need things from God. What I want is my choice, my own decision, an expression of my free will. God gave us free will, that is why we must choose for ourselves what we want our lives to be. God is neutral in what God 'wants' us to do with our lives.
What I do from now on with my life is up to me. All the consequences is mine alone.
