Life is made up of pleasure and pain. Some people have more of the former than the latter, and vice versa. Either one is fine. Either one is life. It's okay to feel down sometimes and feel blissful other times. One flows into the other, like day and night. It's how life is. One is there so we may notice and appreciate the other.
But nothing lasts. Nothing endures.
This too shall pass.
